Thoroughbred Publications Limited (TPL) is a privately owned company catering for the marketing and publishing needs of the Australasian thoroughbred industry. The company is owned and operated by Peter Francis and Gus Wigley. Peter Francis is the president of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders Association and a successful business owner. Gus Wigley has a background in marketing within the thoroughbred industry and currently acts as Editor of The Informant and General Manager of TPL.

Thoroughbred Publications has three key areas of focus; The Informant - New Zealand’s premier weekly source of racing news and form, The Australasian A to Z of Thoroughbred Business - Australasia’s leading thoroughbred industry directory, and its marketing service which caters for some of New Zealand’s leading thoroughbred studs
